How Team Work (Hawkes Bay) came about

Jaswinder Singh known as Jas to all within the Horticulture / Agriculture / Viticulture industry both here in New Zealand and Italy.  Jas worked for 10 years within the agriculture industry in Italy where he gained 8 years of invaluable experience with regards to managing a large labour force as a foreman for a company suppling fresh salad produce throughout Italy.

His elder brother and parents were already in New Zealand when as a family they decided after much discussion that it would be a good idea and beneficial for Jas and his wife join them.

When Jas arrived in New Zealand in 2006 the family had already started a small labour supply work force, they then decided after much discussion that with Jas’s background in the management of labour he was the best fit to run the company and with this In January 2007 Team Work (Hawkes Bay) Limited was Established .

Team Work (Hawkes Bay) Ltd is well known within the local community as a company that supports numerous events from Diwali to local sports teams. Team Work (Hawkes Bay) ltd were awarded the best Asian business in 2017.

The business has grown steady over the years supplying contracted labour throughout the Horticulture/Viticulture and Agriculture Industry in Hawkes Bay and Manawatu /Wairarapa regions. The business is managed from Jas’s own Orchard site in Bridge Pa where he has grown Apples and other pip fruit since 2017.

Team Work (Hawkes Bay) Ltd gained RSE Approved employer Status in 2012.
